"Sharing the Merit, even if they give just one cent, people should have the motivation of putting a drop of water in the ocean. A drop of water on its own will easily evaporate, but in the ocean it will always remain." There are many ways you can contribute to WelcomingBuddhist for our future plans.
Medicine Buddha Day - All day
To not become happy because of praise, To not become unhappy because of blame, To support one's own good virtues, This is the character of the supreme being.
If the intention is good, the levels and paths are good. If the intention is bad, the levels and paths are bad, Since everything depends on intentions it is important that we make them positive.
Do not do anything harmful to one another, do only what is good. Discipline your own mind to subdue negative emotions.
Do no evil whatsoever, practice virtue perfectly, tame your mind completely. This is the teaching of the Buddhist doctrine.
Holy Master Videos
Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, was a distinguished teacher, of among others the Dalai Lama. He has been reincarnated as the Yangsi or ‘newborn’. The young Yangsi is one of the leaders presiding over the cremation of Khandro Lhamo, who in his past life had been his sang yum.
We see the extensive and colorful cremation, presided over by the most distinguished leaders of various Tibetan schools, partly because Khandro Lhamo was the Sang yum of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, head of the Nyingmapas.
It may well be one of the last times the leaders of a Tibetan Buddhist cremation were actually born in Tibet. The importance of direct transmission during the rituals on to the new generation is therefore given extra weight by this cremation. Trulchik Rinpoche, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, Tenga Rinpoche, Yangsi, Neten Choling, as well as daughter Semo Chime Wangmo and Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche share their views. Continue reading
Do not forget the Lama and pray to him at all times. Do not be carried away by thoughts, instead watch the nature of mind. Do not forget death and persist in the Dharma. Do not forget sentient beings and with compassion dedicate your merit. Written in Nepal, June 4th 1989, by Mangala.
Advice from His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche these four lines condense the meaning of all 84,000 class ifcations of Dharma as taught by the Buddha. the rest line explains the importance of the Spiritual Guide and how to develop genuine Devotion based on pure perception,
as it is said: “Before a Lama appeared, there was not even the name of Buddha. Even all of the one thousand Buddhas of this eon, became enlightened by relying on a Lama.” In this way, relying upon the Spiritual Guide and the lineage he transmits is the only true path to enlightenment and is indispensable. the second line includes all the instructions on Buddhist meditation from the meditation of lesser vehicles all the way through the highest Dzogchen Ati Yoga.
The third line explains the foundational practices including refection on impermanence and uncertain death as well as the genuine diligence born from this refection, the fourth line teaches the entire path of the Greater Vehicle and the methods for developing the universal love and compassion of Bodhicitta this Pith Instruction given by Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche,
What follows is a commentary to the video. This movie is not like a convential film because of its importance: a great accomplished and omnicient Lama who is a representation of the Buddha provides the commentary. Although this Lama cannot be seen through the phyiscal eyes, he has inmeasurable quailities of love, compassion and power. Even though you may not recognize it, the blessing you are receiving for watching it has merit. A movie such as this cannot ordinarily be found and is very rare. Because of the movie’s great meaning it is recommended to pay close attention while viewing.
Buddha Shakyamuni is fully enlightened came to this world truly bringing benefit for all the being like sun shining everywhere. He finally passed away, but he did not have any negative karma because he had full wisdom body. His passing away showed other beings impermanence which was a benefit to them. He left messages for his disciples that My reincarnation Vajrayana lineage holders name is the Glorious Lotus Born, Guru Padmasambhava he is kindly actively giving wisdom teaching Vajrayana to all the beings but unlucky beings do not even hear the name. Watch this movie if you would like to see the good intention and pure perception. Even if you are dumb you will receive blessing. Guru Rinpoche has immeasurable stories. As it is said by the Buddha in a tantric teaching, “May all beings who are connected to me, who see me, hear me, touch me or think of me, even though they may not make offerings, offer praise, and so forth, may they quickly attain true and perfect Enlightenment.” If you follow this kind of direction from this great Lama, you will never fall down. This authentic Lama spent many years in retreat and lived a solitary life of practice of good intention for all beings and the lineage. He is a fully realized Dzogchen Master who became very renowned without advertising his qualities.
This teaching, like a mango ripens from the inside out. Whatever you eat of it is delicious. If not authentic lineage or Lama, then mango fruit looks like the outside has ripened but the inside has not. Without authentic lineage teachings or Lama there can be no benefit nor meaning, much like an unripe mango is not good to eat. Such an action would be a waste of time and useless.
All of the great Nyingma lineage masters have inmeasurable quailities but have no desire to advertise themselves or boast. Always pure intention is good samaya, and pure lineage stil life, also pure perception, respect for every one, the pure Buddhist way.
Great master Kaybje Chatral Rinpoche said the mixing of politics and Dharma is like mixing fire and water, they never exist together and would constitute a contradiction.
This is why the Buddha Shakyamuni gave up the activities of his kingdom and became a simple monk.
Kabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche said, “If one does not practice and wishes to teach, there is no blessing. It is like an empty glass trying to fill up another empty glass. There is nothing being pored into nothing.” The most important thing is to practice, because if we achieve our realization, anything we do will automatically bring benefits to other beings.
